Guarantees and status
What the code enforces, what it does not promise, and where the project stands. Read the second list before you buy.
Guaranteed by the code#
- While your window is open, nobody but you can reach its ETH: not the dev, not the deployer, not anyone. There is no owner, no admin key and no upgrade path.
- Undoing returns every wei of the ETH you spent on the tokens. The tax and the premium you saw when you bought are what the window cost.
- A purchase is refunded or delivered, never both.
- The liquidity is locked for good: the hook is the only liquidity provider, and no function takes its positions out of the pool.
- The supply is fixed at launch and can only go down. Nothing can mint a token.
- The dev is paid the tax, in ETH, and nothing else.
- A window lasts exactly as long as its premium pays for, whatever anyone else does.
Not guaranteed#
- That the code is correct. The mechanism is new and has not been audited.
- A good price. A window buys time, not upside, and a plain swap is a plain swap.
- A window for a small purchase. Its premium may be at most 30% of the purchase, so under about 0.014 ETH there is none.
- A window through a router. Only a call to the hook carries one.
- That the Uniswap interface routes it. The pool is an ordinary v4 pool, but which pools the interface routes through is Uniswap's decision.
- Cheap gas. Opening and closing a window moves liquidity, and costs several times a swap.
